We are so loved!

Last night it was Scouts and Mutual, so we had to find some poor soul to watch our kids. The unlucky ones were the Shannon family. They seem to always get stuck with watching our little rascals. Well, little did we know that there was a suprise for us when we went to pick them up....

The Shannon's son had his hair cut like this earlier in the summer. So one sunday I caught Kylan spiking his hair for church. I asked him,"What are you doing?" and he says, "I'm giving myself a hawky, like Eric." So I'm not sure if it was that same day or another sunday, but I was warned by Laura that Jared had just promised Kylan that he would give him a mohawk the next time he came over. So Jared came through on his promise and we have a new look for the rest of the summer :) And he says if it were any other people he wouldn't have done it. Thanks Jared! We feel so special!!

Kylan had a great birthday! He got lots of fun stuff and was really excited for Daddy to get home from work so he could open his presents.

He got a guitar like Daddy's, so he's really excited. He also got some Star Wars transformers, a Star Wars laptop, a new light saber(notice a trend?) and some other stuff that will be floating around the house pretty soon.

This is how Caleb was while Kylan was unwrapping his presents. I guess taking them swimming really wore him out :) Also notice the chocolate frosting all over his face, he got to "help" Mommy frost the cake. He just sat there and licked the spatula :) And I also found three little finger marks in the cake when I went to light the candles, hmmmmm....I wonder who did that? :)

Happy 5th Birthday!

My baby is growing up way too fast! I can't believe he starts kindergarten next month! I am going to bawl like a baby :) Here are some pics from his life. I sure am glad that he's a part of our family! I love you Kylan!

Hannah's hang out spot

This is one of Hannah's fav new spots. She likes to play in the shoe basket. It's so much fun to sort through the smelly shoes and throw them out! She's a funny girl!

I was giving Caleb a much needed bath. I left him to play with his toys for a little bit and came back to find this. What a funny kid! I don't think I could ever fall asleep in a bath tub! He must have been tired! Crazy!!

Here she is with some of her new stuff. She got a new shopping cart with food to put in it, a huggable Minnie Mouse, a singing vacuum, a ladybug ball, a my little pony that smells like chocolate and some cute clothes.

We had a lot of fun celebrating Hannah's 1st birthday. For her it was just another day, but we tried to make it just about her. She definately got spoiled! She had a great time and the boys like her presents a lot, almost more than she does!

Our trip to Wyoming

The Nichols were able to come visit us while we were there. Who are those messy kids?

We had a lot of fun while in Wyoming, it was really hard to leave the mountains and all the trees behind! We enjoyed the horse riding, four wheeling, and lots of family games.

More from the trip...Utah again :)

We had a pre-birthday party since the family won't be there for the real one.

Our visit to Utah...

While we visited with Grandma and Grandpa Stahl we were able to do some fun things. We went to the Dinosaur Museum and the Children's garden at Thanksgiving Point. We also got to have some yummy chinese food and watch movies and catch up with some old friends.
