Belated Anniversary

While in Salt Lake we took advantage of having the grandparents around and went for a romantic night at the Castle Creek Inn. It was really nice and it has a beautiful garden in the back with a creek that you can go sit by. I highly recommend staying there if you ever get the chance!

Vacation continued....

We went to the Aquarium while we were in Salt Lake City. It was after Nate had gone back to Texas, so we were giving him fishy kisses.

They had a Nemo display and it was pretty cool.

We also got to go to Hogle Zoo, the kids had a lot of fun.

We had to take our picture by the big gorilla, but Grandma cut out the gorilla from the picture, it was supposed to take the place of Daddy :)

Better late than never, huh? That seems to be my motto lately :) I thought I'd finish up the vacation stuff, then I could get back to the here and now.

Vacation update...

While in Wyoming, we went for a drive to Idaho Falls to see some friends

We drove up by the Tetons, this was what sparked the interest in a horse ride :)

Well in case you were wondering, we made it to Utah and Wyoming. It has been a lot of fun, but it's hard to believe it's half over. We were in Wyoming for a week and it was great. We were right up in the mountains and it was beautiful. We rode horses, 4 wheelers, and just enjoyed the scenery. I didn't take too many scenic pictures, but I did the last time we were there. Then we went to Morgan, UT and it is up in the mountains as well. We got to visit a lot of family. We celebrated a wedding, sent off a missionary, and had a baptism while we were there. It is a bit chaotic when we have everyone together. You can imagine what it's like with 10 kids and all but one is married. There are 30-something grandchildren also. It's pretty crazy. I took a few pictures though and more will come, I just needed to post something since it has been a while and I didn't fall off the face of the earth :)

Hungry like a wolf

So seriously, this pregnancy is killing me. I have not been so nauseous with any of my pregnancies, or eaten so much. I am now 11 weeks along and I have gained 14 pounds, yep! 14!!! I am not even out of my first trimester yet! Sheesh! If this keeps up then I will be as big as a house! I think it's from being so nauseous and lying around all the time not doing any exercise. I have my first doctor appointment on thursday, so we'll see what my doctor thinks about it all. Nate keeps teasing me about having twins, and I have started having nightmares about it :) I don't think I could handle it, but I guess you deal with things that come your way, huh? I guess we'll see. I bet it's just a case of no exercise, plus lots of eating(almost every hour), and maybe it's gestational diabetes on top of it, who knows! I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's not the first idea of it being twins! haha

Simplify

I think I need some simplicity in my life. I have too much junk, too much laundry, and too many dishes. I know I need to de-junk my house in a bad way. We've lived in this house for almost 6 years and I have never de-cluttered my house. I am hoping that I start feeling well enough to go through things soon. If anyone likes to sort through junk, come on over, it will be like clean sweep :) Maybe I should get a hold of that show!

Happy Anniversary!

Today is our 9th Anniversary. It has gone so fast, it seems like yesterday that we were driving to the temple together to get married :) So here we are today....

Just so ya know....

For those of you who couldn't make it for the movie, you didn't miss much. That movie is not worth watching. It is all about sex! I couldn't believe it! I definately won't be adding that one to my collection. But you did miss out on 17 again. I really liked that one, and it made up for the bad one we watched. It was a fun night though, with good company :) We should do it again soon!
